For as long as tattoos have existed getting inked has been used to express a persons feelings, loves and creativity. Although perhaps more traditionally a male aquisition, for women too, tattoos are growing in popularity and research shows that almost one quarter of the population have at least one tattoo on their body.
A tattoo is an image injected under the skin using tattooists ink to permanentally add the image. It can be a little painful but isn’t it worth a bit of discomfort for a permanent work of art on your body? And yes, in my and many others opinions, tattoo artists are artists and many tattoos really are works of art.
